You May Be A Candidate if
you are living with obesity
you are experiencing an obesity related health concern such as high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, sleep apnea or fatty liver
you are interested in a non-surgical weight loss approach to complement your eating and activity habits
you are willing to participate in a behviour change program that includes coaching by a registered dietitian. This make the most of your Allurion program both while the temporary balloon is in place and ensures your weight loss is sustained
You Do Not Have
Difficulty swallowing
Crohn's disease or predisposition to bowel obstruction
Previous bariatric or esophageal surgery
History of gastrointestinal bleeding or liver cirrhosis
Eating disorder
Pancreatitis
Cancer
Those who are pregnant or nursing are not eligible candidates for a gastric balloon.
